• The
• Clinical Nurse Educator for the Emergency Department and Orthopedic Unit at Mease Dunedin Hospital
• assesses, develops, implements, and leads educational activities designed to grow, maintain, and improve the professional competence of clinical team members and creates and oversees assigned clinical programs by completing needs assessments.

The role supports both Emergency Department and Orthopedic team members through education, professional development, and evidence-based practice initiatives.

• Your Role Within the

Team:

• + Assess, develop, and lead educational programs that strengthen clinical competence and professional growth for Emergency Department and Orthopedic team members + Design and oversee unit-specific education based on identified learning needs and quality initiatives + Support clinical orientation and ongoing education for new and existing nurses + Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for evidence-based practice and clinical education + Partner with clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives + Provide consultation and guidance on education requirements, competencies, and available learning resources + Act as a positive change agent by supporting practice improvement, communication, and engagement + Perform Registered Nurse functions and other duties as assigned, as needed •Qualifications•Required•+ BSN with 3 years of clinical experience + Emergency Department Experience •Preferred•+ Professional organization certification + ANPD certification + Orthopedics Nursing Experience •
