Clinical Educator- Cardiac PCU & Orthopedics
Job Description
Team:
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs that support clinical excellence and professional development for Cardiac PCU and Orthopedic team members Design and oversee specialty-specific education based on identified learning needs, regulatory requirements, and quality initiatives Facilitate orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency development for new and experienced nurses Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for evidence-based practice, clinical education, and specialty nursing care Partner with nursing leaders and interdisciplinary teams to support patient safety, quality improvement, and practice advancement initiatives Provide consultation and guidance related to competencies, educational requirements, certification opportunities, and professional development Promote engagement, lifelong learning, and practice improvement as a positive change agent within the clinical environment Perform Registered Nurse functions and other duties as assigned, as needed Qualifications Required BSN with 3 years of clinical experience Clinical nursing experience in Cardiac Progressive Care, Telemetry, Cardiovascular Nursing, Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical Nursing, or a related acute care specialty Preferred Professional organization certification ANPD certification Experience caring for cardiac and/or orthopedic patient populations Previous education, preceptor, mentoring, or leadership experienceLocation:
