Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and educator for RNs, LPNs, LNAs, Patient Care Assistants, and other clinical staff. Provide bedside coaching and just-in-time education to support quality patient care. Coordinate and facilitate orientation programs for nursing staff and support personnel. Promote evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and clinical excellence throughout the organization. Collaborate with nursing leadership on competency assessments, quality improvement initiatives, nursing audits, and special projects. Develop and present educational classes, in-services, learning labs, and clinical training programs. Partner with Infection Prevention and Informatics teams to provide education on PPE, documentation, workflow, and best practices. Serve as a clinical expert for complex nursing procedures and assist with implementation of new equipment and clinical processes. Encourage professional growth, leadership development, and specialty certification among nursing staff. Maintain current clinical expertise while supporting excellence in patient care across multiple acute care departments. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active Vermont RN license in good standing. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Previous acute care hospital nursing experience required. Experience in Medical-Surgical, Progressive Care, Emergency Department, or Perioperative nursing preferred. Previous Clinical Nurse Educator experience preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and organizational skills. Passion for mentoring clinical staff and improving patient outcomes through education.
