P Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and overseeing the performance improvement programs and activities for Baptist Health hospitals. Proactively identifies opportunities to improve outcomes in a cost effective manner. Collaborates effectively with other disciplines, facilities and agencies. Proactively identifies opportunities within the EMR for standardization of processes based on best practices. Supports compliance with regulatory agencies' clinical quality standards. Leads and coordinates quality initiatives.
Other information:
Masters/Bachelors degree preferred, Associate of Science and professional license are required in a clinical healthcare field. Five years of hospital clinically based experience is required. Experience and ability to develop positive interpersonal relationships are essential. The goal is to improve the quality of care and education within the Baptist Health System by standardizing processes based on clinically evidence based research. Team facilitation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success and projects. Expertise as a clinician, educator, change agent, and researcher are pivotal for success. This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
