Who We Are On July 1, 2025, IPL Plastics merged with Schoeller Allibert to form IPL Schoeller (the 'company'). The Company's operations are split across North America (11 manufacturing plants) and Europe (16 manufacturing plants). The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. IPL Schoeller is a leading manufacturer of sustainable rigid packaging solutions across a range of end market segments including returnable transit packaging, consumer and industrial packaging, environmental containers and agricultural packaging. The company employs c.4,100 employees across North America (1,600 employees) and Europe (2,500 employees.) The role We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality program, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure our products consistently exceed customer expectations. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. You will partner closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Leadership teams while leading a team of quality professionals dedicated to delivering world-class results. What You'll Do Quality Leadership Drive and promote a culture focused on delivering high-quality products every time. Lead, coach, and develop Quality team members through performance management, training, and mentorship. Foster organization-wide accountability for quality standards and customer expectations. Quality Systems & Compliance Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems, customer requirements, and industry regulations. Conduct regular internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Support external audits and customer quality assessments. Continuous Improvement Analyze quality metrics, trends, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives to address quality concerns and reduce defects. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Participate in new product, process, and operational projects, providing quality expertise and guidance. Customer & Supplier Quality Serve as a key point of contact for customer and supplier quality matters. Investigate customer complaints and quality concerns, ensuring timely resolution and effective corrective actions. Collaborate with suppliers to improve incoming material quality and performance. Build strong relationships with customers by ensuring quality expectations are understood and consistently met. Reporting & Communication Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, audit findings, and improvement initiatives to leadership teams. Communicate quality performance and key metrics across the organization. Provide recommendations to senior management regarding quality strategy and risk mitigation. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of quality management experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO standards. Proven leadership experience managing quality teams and driving performance. Experience leading quality improvement and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in plastics, packaging, injection molding, or high-volume manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA methodologies. Experience with customer audits and supplier quality management.
