Healthcare | Hospitals & Health Systems About the Role Covenant Health is seeking a Process Improvement and Innovation Manager to lead system-wide initiatives in process optimization, innovation, and strategic project management. This role is critical to advancing our mission, vision, values, and strategic goals across all Covenant Health entities. We are specifically looking for a clinically experienced leader—preferably a nurse— who brings deep expertise in process improvement, project execution, and driving measurable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead initiatives to improve cost efficiency, workflows, clinical quality, and strategic growth across hospitals, medical practices, and post-acute facilities. Apply clinical expertise—preferably in nursing—to assess and improve patient care pathways and operational processes. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with system-wide strategic goals. Analyze clinical and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and drive measurable outcomes. Develop and facilitate training on Lean methodologies, process improvement, and project management best practices. Create and maintain standardized tools and frameworks for improvement across all Covenant Health entities. Serve as a change agent, modeling Covenant Health's mission, vision, and Catholic health values. Qualifications Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, Engineering, or related field ( required ) Master's degree ( preferred ) Active RN license ( preferred ) Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent ( preferred ) PMP Certification ( preferred ) Experience Minimum of 5 years in process improvement and/or project management Significant experience in a hospital or clinical care setting Strong background in healthcare operations, finance, strategic planning, and change management Direct nursing experience ( strongly preferred ) Preferred Skills & Attributes Ability to translate clinical knowledge into practical improvement strategies Excellent communication and facilitation skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal Strong data analysis and presentation skills Self-starter with exceptional organizational and time-management abilities Collaborative, solution-oriented, and resilient under pressure Willingness and ability to travel to various Covenant Health locations as needed Why Join Covenant Health?
