Software Development Support Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Spanish and English, spoken and written. Demonstrated comfort explaining technology to non-technical users with patience and clarity. Willingness to complete Renacer community health worker training and pursue the Florida Certification Board Certified Community Health Worker (CCHW) credential, an entry-level credential requiring a diploma or GED and a passing examination score. Valid Florida driver license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel within Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening. Working familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, demonstrated through coursework, certificate, bootcamp, personal projects, or prior work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree or technical certificate in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Experience with version control, issue tracking, or ticketing systems. Prior experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based setting. Prior community health worker experience or an existing CCHW credential. The role requires sitting and computer use for extended periods and occasional lifting of equipment up to 25 pounds

Support:
Renacer Foundation seeks an entry-level IT Help Desk Specialist to support the software platforms that carry the organization's community health work. The position has two halves.
The first is technology support:
answering user requests, maintaining the internal applications the program teams depend on, and assisting with testing and configuration as those applications are developed and improved.
The second is direct service:
the specialist is trained and deployed as a community health worker, meeting Spanish-speaking and limited English proficient clients in person and by phone, helping them use Renacer's digital tools, and connecting them to health and social services. Both halves are essential. The person who supports the software also sits with the families using it. Answer user inquiries regarding software or hardware operation and resolve problems in person, by telephone, or electronically. Read technical documentation, confer with users, and run diagnostics to investigate and resolve reported issues. Set up equipment for staff use, including installation of cables, operating systems, and applications. Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new features or modifications to internal applications. Assist with testing of software builds, record defects, and verify fixes before release to program staff. Modify and customize existing applications and scripts for internal program needs under the direction of senior technical staff. Maintain records of support requests, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activity. Develop training materials and train staff and clients in the proper use of Renacer software and hardware.

AND COMMUNITY HEALTH SUPPORT
Assist individuals and families with applications for health coverage and social services, including Medicaid and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children WIC Provide interpretation, translation, and cultural mediation between community members and health and social service providers. Assess individual and community needs for health education and social services and record findings in the client record system. Advise clients and community groups on access to services and support parental understanding of childhood immunization schedules and access points. Support development of individual and family service plans and document progress toward stated goals. Relay client feedback to health service providers to improve service accessibility and cultural responsiveness. Background and drug test will be conducted by the employer

Job Salary:
50,000 annually/ $24.27
Job Schedule:
Standard schedule is 40 hours per week, with occasional evening and weekend hours for community events.
