Job Description

Overview Join a dedicated team as a Community Habilitation Staff member, providing vital support to a young woman with a disability during weekend hours. In this rewarding role, you will empower individuals to develop essential life skills, foster independence, and enjoy meaningful community engagement. Your positive energy and compassionate approach will create a vibrant and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Responsibilities Assist the individual with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks Facilitate social interactions and community outings to enhance social skills and community integration Collect data on progress towards individual goals to inform care planning and reporting Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, activities conducted, and observations during shifts Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Strong caregiving abilities with a focus on assisting with ADLs and promoting independence Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with individuals, families, and team members Valid driver's license for transportation needs during community outings Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on person-centered support and social work principles
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
