The Mobile Unit Outreach Specialist be responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Stark County HealthMobile - for Harm Reduction and other health screening and education efforts within Stark County - including coordinating events, driving and maintaining the mobile unit, as well as establishing community partnerships.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Driving to specified locations and setting up the unit Performing routine maintenance, including refueling, tank dumping, cleaning the unit Tracking inventory, including stocking the mobile unit Distributing Naloxone, serving as a resource person to the community and tracking metrics Promoting the unit within the community Office work: Assist with community outreach by attending community meetings, meeting with agencies, partners and treatment facilities, coordinating event logistics, and grant reporting Other tasks as requested or assigned by the Unit Manager, Director and/or Health Commissioner. Minimum Education, Training and/or

Experience Needs:

High school diploma Experience working in substance use disorder or drug overdose prevention preferred Excellent communication skills/rapport with individuals in the target population (including people with lived experience and/or people with Substance Use Disorder) required. Highly organized and self-directed Ability to operate the Mobile Unit, a 30-foot class C motor coach (no CDL required)
