Community Health Worker (Bilingual - English/Spanish)
Location:
Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties | Full-time | Primarily Remote About the
Role:
Join Washington United Migrant as a Community Health Worker and make a real difference in your community! Connect families with local resources, provide health education, and support community wellness. This role is primarily remote , but requires attending some in-person events , including occasional Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect community members with local resources and services. Provide health education and guidance on wellness, nutrition, and preventive care. Conduct outreach to increase participation in programs and events. Support individuals with disabilities and facilitate access to healthcare and social services. Document community needs, program participation, and outcomes.
Requirements:
Bilingual in English and Spanish . Strong computer skills; must have a personal computer and phone . Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently. Experience in community outreach, public health, social work, or related fields is a plus. Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations.
