Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a lab generalist position with phlebotomy included . Candidates must be strong in EPIC . Responsibilities Perform general laboratory duties across multiple departments. Collect, process, and receive blood, urine, fecal, and body fluid specimens. Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection for patients of all age groups. Perform complex laboratory procedures and recognize deviations from expected results. Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory problems using scientific principles. Analyze quality control data and take appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision. Answer questions regarding test results, methodology, test sensitivity/specificity, and factors affecting results. Review instrument indicators and temperature monitors. Participate in laboratory initiatives, techniques, and procedure evaluations. Maintain competency in laboratory skills and procedures. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience. Lab generalist experience with phlebotomy. Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree for grandfathered personnel. Active state license as required. Must be available for possible call if needed and willing. No weekend requirement.

Pay:

$1,950.00 - $2,004.00 per week
