Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM P ay: $58/hr to $63/hr Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist / Cyto Tech for a 13-week travel contract in an inpatient hospital laboratory . The ideal candidate will have strong cytology skills, recent laboratory experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Requirements Minimum 1 year of Cytotechnologist / Cyto Tech experience Strong cytology / cytotechnology skills required Inpatient hospital laboratory experience required ASCP certification required ASCP-C or ASCP-CT certification preferred Ability to perform cytology testing and laboratory procedures accurately Strong attention to detail and specimen identification skills Ability to maintain quality and accuracy in a high-volume laboratory environment Ability to work independently and collaboratively with laboratory and healthcare teams Must be available for the full 13-week contract Holiday work required as scheduled Responsibilities Perform cytology and related laboratory testing according to established procedures Examine and evaluate cytology specimens Prepare, process, and evaluate specimens accurately Maintain proper specimen identification and documentation Follow laboratory quality control and quality assurance procedures Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and safety standards Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory professionals, and other healthcare team members Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation Identify and report unusual or questionable findings according to established protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment Schedule & Contract Details Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:00 PM 40 hours per week 13-week travel contract Start date: September 28, 2026 No weekend requirement No on-call requirement Floating may be required within the specialty Holidays required as scheduled
