Job Description
Our growing orthodontic office is looking for an orthodontic assistant to join our already amazing team. If you have a warm and inviting personality, are reliable, and motivated to learn continually, we want to hear from you! A professional and pleasant attitude under pressure is a must. But while we take straightening teeth very seriously, we also have a lot of fun too, so we need team members who willingly participate in our exciting team building adventures and off-site community events. While experience is a major plus, we are willing to train the right person. Perks include earned paid time off, paid holidays, employee bonuses, and a profit sharing program. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring a sterile environment. Implement orthodontic treatment independently as directed by the orthodontist Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Operate 3D scanners and other dental equipment as needed. Maintain patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times. Support the team in various dental assisting tasks, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
