Job Description

Auburn Periodontics and Implant Dentistry - Auburn, AL Auburn Periodontics and Implant Dentistry is looking for a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. We are a periodontal and implant focused practice providing surgical and comprehensive periodontal care in a professional, patient centered environment. Responsibilities Prepare and set up treatment rooms for exams and surgical procedures Assist the doctor during periodontal surgeries, implant procedures, and patient exams Prepare instruments and materials needed for procedures Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas Take and process dental X-rays and scans as needed Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Maintain accurate and organized patient records Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and ready for the next patient Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and practice protocols Provide a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient Assist with maintaining an efficient daily schedule and keeping the clinical area organized Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred; periodontal or surgical experience is a plus Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures Comfortable working in a surgical environment Dependable, organized, and detail oriented Professional and compassionate when interacting with patients Able to work well as part of a team Willing to learn and take direction Strong communication skills Tech savvy What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and understands the importance of being prepared before each patient enters the treatment room. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
