Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for various treatments. Take and develop X-rays in accordance with safety protocols. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical histories and treatment plans. Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients. Operate 3D scanners for imaging as needed during procedures. Assist with endodontic treatments by preparing materials and instruments required for root canal therapy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential. Familiarity with medical records management systems is advantageous. Proficiency in using dental software, particularly Eaglesoft, is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
