Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intro Dental Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk Assistant to join our dynamic team! Duties Verify dental insurance coverage and eligibility. Assist patients with understanding their dental insurance benefits. Ensure compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations to protect patient confidentiality and medical records. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing documentation accurately, maintaining clinical confidentiality policies at all times. Collaborate with clinical staff to verify insurance details before treatment, supporting smooth scheduling and billing processes. Utilize Microsoft Office tools to generate reports, track insurance claims status, and maintain organized records of all interactions. Experience Prior experience in a dental office setting or healthcare environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance policies and insurance verification procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, ADA codes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and insurance representatives. Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies such as HIPAA to ensure privacy standards are maintained consistently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and reporting purposes. Pay:
