Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, Dental Hygienist, or a Receptionist! This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while supporting the smooth operation of a busy dental practice. You will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive dental services, managing patient interactions, and ensuring clinical excellence through infection control and technical proficiency. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and care. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and adhering to strict infection prevention management protocols. Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide exceptional patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing patient questions with professionalism. Perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during dental procedures. Handle administrative duties including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, managing patient management software, and greeting patients warmly as a dental receptionist. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred, especially with pediatric dentistry. Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for medical documentation and records management. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical confidentiality policies is essential. Familiarity with dental sterilization procedures, infection control standards, aseptic technique, and healthcare infection prevention practices. Hands-on experience with dental instruments processing, X-ray equipment operation including dental X-ray machines. Strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and medical documentation requirements related to dental care. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
