Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join the dynamic dental team working with active-duty US Coast Guard members. Key Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and endodontic treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials in accordance with aseptic techniques Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Perform vital signs assessment and medical imaging to support comprehensive patient evaluations Support administrative tasks including dental reception duties, appointment scheduling, and patient communication Maintain infection control standards and ensure all equipment is sterilized and properly maintained Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions Assist with advanced procedures utilizing 3D scanners and other modern dental technology Collaborate effectively within a team practicing four-handed dentistry to optimize patient care Qualifications Valid registration as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or certification. DANB certification required or willing to obtain. 1 year experience within the past three years.
