We are looking for a dedicated person with a positive attitude and eager to work in a positive team environment . Our office is committed to providing quality and compassionate dental care to toddlers, children, and teens so a love for children is a must. Experience in a pediatric dental office is a plus, but not required.
Duties of the assistant include:
Prepare examination and treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up proper equipment for procedures Update and maintain patient dental records in Open Dental software Obtain diagnostic dental radiographs including bitewings, periapical, and panoramic x-rays Provide support/assistance to dentists, and other team members as needed during procedures Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment Educate patients and parents by giving oral hygiene instructions, pre and postoperative instructions Work in a team environment with other dental assistants to help maintain efficiency in the office The position will be Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm and Friday 7:45am-1:00pm Competitive benefits and pay is based on experience and skills.
