Role Overview:
As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you'll ensure smooth operations in our practice.
Daily Responsibilities:
Surgical Support:
Assist the oral surgeon during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating needs.
Consultation Support:
Help with patient histories, recover sedated patients, and explain treatment plans.
Prosthetics Assistance:
Prepare and pass instruments for dental implants, ensure secure placement, and assist with adjustments.
Room Setup:
Prepare the operatory with necessary instruments and ensure cleanliness.
Pano/CT Scans:
Operate and maintain scanning equipment.
Instrument Sterilization:
Clean, sterilize, and store surgical instruments.
Pre/Post-Operative Care:
Explain instructions and care to patients.
Patient Confidentiality:
Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines.
Inventory Management:
Track supplies and assist with ordering.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification or experience as a surgical assistant preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
Experience:
1 year of dental assisting required.
License/Certifications:
