The ideal candidate will provide essential support during endodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role involves assisting the endodontist with various clinical tasks, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining a clean and organized environment focused on endodontic care. Duties Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures by passing instruments, materials, and supplies. Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and sterilized equipment specific to endodontic care. Ensure patient comfort by properly positioning patients and providing pre- and post-procedure instructions. Maintain accurate patient records related to endodontic treatments and procedures. Sterilize dental instruments and ensure all endodontic tools are properly maintained and organized. Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer any questions related to their procedures. Follow infection control protocols specific to endodontic procedures to ensure safety for patients and staff. Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with a focus on endodontic procedures preferred. Knowledge of endodontic instruments, materials, and procedures is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining sterile environments. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting focused on specialized dental care. Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols.
