Key Responsibilities Chairside Assisting:

Assist doctors during exams, restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, root canals), extractions, and cosmetic treatments by passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear field of view.

Patient Experience:

Prepare patients for treatment, take medical/dental histories, update charts, and deliver pre/post-operative instructions with compassion and care.

Operatory PrepSterilization:

Set up treatment rooms, disinfect equipment, and follow OSHA, HIPAA, and strict infection control protocols.

Diagnostic ImagingScans:

Take clear dental X-rays and capture digital scans/impressions as needed.

Supply Management:

Maintain operatory stocking, organize instrument trays, and assist with clinical inventory.

QualificationsSkills Required:

Arizona Dental Assistant Certification Required:

Arizona Dental Radiologic Safety Certificate (X-ray Certified)

Required:

Arizona Coronal Polish Certificate Preferred:

1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience in a general dentistry setting
