Dental Assistant - Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage Goodyear Family Dentistry is looking for a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented dental assistant to provide temporary coverage while a team member is on maternity leave.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the doctor during dental procedures Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments Taking digital X-rays and intraoral photographs Reviewing the daily schedule and preparing for upcoming procedures Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control protocols Maintaining accurate clinical documentation Educating patients about treatment and postoperative care Keeping rooms clean, stocked, and ready Supporting the clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly Providing patients with a comfortable and positive experience

Qualifications:

Previous dental-assisting experience preferred Arizona radiology certification preferred Knowledge of Open Dental and digital imaging is a plus Strong communication and time-management skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, coachable, and willing to help the entire team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice This is a temporary position for maternity-leave coverage, with the possibility of continued employment depending on the practice's needs and the candidate's performance.

M-F 8:30am- 5pm
