Orthodontic Clinical Assistant 3-4 Days/Week About Us At Halcomb Orthodontics, we care about creating beautiful, healthy smiles while making the orthodontic experience enjoyable for our patients and our team. The Position Our clinical assistants play a very active role in patient care. Each assistant manages their own patient column and works closely with Dr. Halcomb to provide treatment from start to finish.

Your day will include:

Managing your own patient column and helping keep the day running smoothly Performing orthodontic adjustments and treatment procedures under the direction of Dr. Halcomb Placing and removing wires, brackets, elastics, chains, and other orthodontic components Delivering and fitting orthodontic appliances Taking digital scans, photographs, X-rays, and other diagnostic records Assisting with aligner treatment and other orthodontic procedures Providing patients and parents with clear instructions about appliances, elastics, hygiene, and treatment Monitoring treatment progress and communicating with Dr. Halcomb about patient needs Building relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable and confident throughout treatment Keeping accurate clinical notes and maintaining an organized, efficient column Working closely with the rest of the clinical team to support one another throughout the day Who We're Looking For Previous orthodontic assisting experience is required. We are looking for someone who already understands orthodontics and feels comfortable working directly with patients in a busy clinical environment.
