Dental Administrative and Clinical Assistant Mark Waring Perio Tempe, AZ Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Overview Dental Administrative and Clinical Assistant Mark Waring Periodontics We are seeking a compassionate and detail oriented Dental Administrative and Assistant to join our periodontal team in a dual front office and clinical capacity. This role is well suited for someone who values variety and takes pride in supporting both administrative functions and patient care. In this position, you will help manage the patient experience through insurance coordination and treatment plan support, while also assisting providers chairside during procedures. Your ability to balance front office responsibilities with clinical support will help ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys contributing to the daily operations of the practice while also staying hands on in a clinical setting.
Schedule:
Full Time, Tuesday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm Responsibilities Provide chair-side clinical support to Drs by assisting, charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment Take and process X-Rays Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Welcome, comfort and educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality and follow workplace regulations Present and review treatment plans with patients as needed Verify dental insurance and clearly explain coverage, benefits, and out of pocket costs Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow throughout the day Support front office operations including patient communication and documentation Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned Qualifications Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of Dental Receptionist experience Preferred Skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Experience with dental practice management software Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of dental insurance and billing proceduresWe Offer Competitive Compensation Benefits Package:
