Job Description
Grand Oak Dental is the fastest growing dental practice in Antioch, CA! We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, friendly, and hardworking individual to join our team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and a passion for helping others. We are looking for a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. Duties include assisting the dentist during chairside procedures, assisting the dentist during chairside and surgical procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications:
Current state Dental Assistant License in CA Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain one upon hire Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to work well with others as part of a team or individually as part of a group setting. High School Diploma or equivalent.Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assisting the dentist during chairside procedures. Assisting the dentist during chairside and surgical procedures. Performing cosmetic sterilization on instruments and equipment. Setting up and preparing for treatment including cleaning and sanitizing work areas. Monitoring patient status including checking vital signs and adjusting treatment if necessary.
