Fridays 8am-5pm and Saturdays 8am-2pm. This vital role supports the delivery of exceptional patient care by assisting dentists during procedures, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong foundation in dental assisting to help us provide top-tier pediatric and general dentistry services. Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, endodontic, oral surgery, and prosthodontic treatments Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and sterilized equipment following infection prevention management protocols Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards and HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Manage patient flow by greeting patients, updating medical records, taking vital signs, and ensuring smooth appointment transitions Maintain clinical cleanliness by processing dental instruments according to sterilization procedures and infection control policies Support patient management through effective communication, explaining procedures, and addressing patient concerns with professionalism Document medical information accurately in electronic medical records in Dentrix while maintaining compliance with clinical confidentiality policies Requirements Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification with current state registration Proven experience in dental assisting within a general or pediatric dentistry setting Proficiency with Dentrix; familiarity with patient management software is highly desirable Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dentistry and pediatrics Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, dental sterilization tools, and other clinical devices Strong understanding of infection prevention techniques such as aseptic technique and healthcare infection control standards Excellent communication skills for patient care and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment Join us if you're passionate about delivering outstanding patient care in a vibrant dental practice!
