Job Description
Part-time orthodontic dental assistant needed for Saturdays (and select Fridays) at our private practice. $25.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on license and experience. What you'll do Chairside assisting for orthodontic procedures: bonding and banding, arch wire changes, appliance delivery, retainer checks, alginate impressions and more. X-rays (panoramic and cephalometric), iTero digital scans and photos (intra and extra oral) Charting, sterilization, operatory setup and breakdown Reviewing home care instructions with patients What we're looking for California RDA license, or an experienced orthodontic assistant (OA) Current X-ray certification Friendly, honest, dependable, and willing to learn Schedule Saturdays 9 am to 6 pm, with an unpaid lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm. Plus one Friday per month. Approximately 8 to 16 hours per week. Why our office Small private practice with a caring, hardworking team. Calm office and a steady Saturday schedule.
