Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining efficiency in a fast-paced dental practice. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in general dentistry. Duties Assist dentists chairside during various procedures Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict infection prevention management protocols Take high-quality dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques Maintain clinical confidentiality policies by securely handling medical documentation and adhering to HIPAA regulations Support patient care by providing clear explanations of dental terminology and procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout visits Assist with dental equipment setup, maintenance of dental instruments, and ensuring a clean, organized clinical environment in compliance with infection control standards Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with familiarity in dental assisting practices Knowledge of Dentrix a plus Proficiency in taking dental x-rays Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize procedure flow Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and healthcare infection control expertise Certification in radiography or x-ray technology Willing to train the right candidate. Excellent opportunity for recent graduates.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
