Berkeley & Orinda Pay:
$26.00-$30 per hour (DOE) Exceptional candidates with extensive pediatric experience, leadership ability, and advanced clinical skills may be considered for a higher starting rate. As a doctor-owned, fee-for-service pediatric practice, we focus on delivering exceptional patient care while creating a positive, supportive workplace for our team. We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant who is dependable, motivated, and interested in growing into a leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, takes initiative, and wants to make a meaningful impact on both our patients and our team. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who: Has at least 3 years of dental assisting experience (pediatric experience preferred) Is confident working independently in a fast-paced environment Enjoys working with children and helping families feel comfortable Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in being a reliable teammate Has excellent communication and organizational skills Leads by example with kindness, professionalism, and a positive attitude Wants to build a long-term career with opportunities for growth Responsibilities Assist pediatric dentists during a variety of procedures Create positive dental experiences for children of all ages Take digital radiographs Maintain accurate electronic patient records Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments Educate patients and parents on oral health Support efficient clinical operations through teamwork Travel between our Berkeley and Orinda offices as needed Leadership Opportunities As you grow within the practice, opportunities may include: Training and mentoring new dental assistants Assisting with clinical organization and workflow Ordering clinical and orthodontic supplies Coordinating orthodontic clinical operations Participating in community outreach and preschool education programs Helping improve systems and procedures throughout the practice Qualifications Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) OR Dental Assistant with current California certifications including: Coronal Polish Radiation Safety Pit & Fissure Sealants Current BLS Certification Benefits Health Insurance Dental Benefits Vision Insurance Retirement Plan Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Paid Holidays Continuing education opportunities Long-term career growth Why Aloha? Compensation:
