We pair clinical excellence with a warm, beautifully designed patient experience, and we're growing. We're looking for an experienced, licensed assistant who takes pride in their work and wants a real role, in writing, on a close-knit team. Why you'll want this seat Monday-Thursday, 32 hours — no Fridays, ever (Could be available if you want more hours) High base pay commensurate with experience Structured onboarding with a written role manual — fully up to speed by day 60, no sink-or-swim TMJ/airway-focused practice: learn advanced clinical work most ortho offices never touch A modern, beautifully designed office with a supportive, tight team Protected weekly admin time for clinical correspondence — you won't be doing paperwork between patients What you'll do Assist chairside through bonding, debanding, adjustments, and records Remove aligner attachments and appliances (slow-speed) per your OA permit, after doctor check Take and process diagnostic records: photos, iTero/intraoral scans, and X-rays Place and remove archwires, ligatures, and appliances per the doctor's direction Prep and turn operatories; maintain sterilization and infection control to a documented standard Educate patients on appliance care, hygiene, and aligner wear Keep accurate, same-day clinical notes in Dolphin What we're looking for Current California Orthodontic Assistant (OA) permit preferred Prior orthodontic assisting experience Current X-ray/radiography and BLS/CPR certifications Strong attention to detail and genuine warmth with patients Reliability and a team-first mindset
