Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and a great attitude.

Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Use intra oral scanner/camera for patient intake Make temporary crowns Record patient medical and dental histories Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols Schedule appointments and manage patient flow Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant Certification (RDA preferred but not required) X-ray certification required CPR/BLS certification preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
