We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, proactive, Spanish speaking Dental Assistant to help provide exceptional patient care in a welcoming, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, maintaining patient records, inventory ordering, documenting accurate clinical notes and providing excellent patient care and communication to ensure a seamless patient experience. Candidates with experience and cross-training in both front office and back office duties are highly preferred. We value flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, etc. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Take dental X-rays, FMX, panoramic and intraoral photos while maintaining strict infection control protocols. Manage patient records using systems like Eaglesoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation for patients with special needs or medical conditions. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients and entering treatment into system. Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices. Experience operating dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and pano x-rays. Familiarity with Eaglesoft for managing medical records and documentation. Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines ensuring patient privacy and data security at all times. Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology relevant to various specialties including pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. Strong organizational skills for managing medical records, daily tray set-up's, and instruments. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
