Job Summary Dental office in south bay is seeking a part-time (including Saturday) Dental Assistant to join our friendly dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with expertise in chairside support, patient care, and clinical procedures. You will assist dentists in providing comprehensive dental treatments, ensure patient comfort, and uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety. Duties Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry and orthodontic treatments. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring an aseptic environment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take digital X-rays/ imaging. Coronal polish Take impressions Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions. Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards Experience Prior experience working in a general dentistry setting is required; Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for maintaining patient confidentiality is mandatory. Demonstrated ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while following radiation safety guidelines. Familiarity with infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental clinic environment. Strong understanding of dental terminology. Bilingual Chinese is a plus.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
