Job Description
Overview:
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join and our team. The ideal candidate will support our dentists and hygienists in providing high-quality patient care while assisting in various dental procedures. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about oral health and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures.
- Perform various dental assisting tasks, such as suctioning, preparing instruments, and sterilizing equipment.
- Operate 3D scanners and other dental technology as needed.
- Maintain patient records and update medical history as necessary.
- Participate in four-handed dentistry, working closely with the dentist and hygienist.
- Provide support during endodontic procedures.
- Utilize Dentrixt software for patient scheduling and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with pediatric dental care, providing gentle and patient-friendly care.
- Maintain knowledge of general dentistry procedures and stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
- Place Orders
Experience:
- Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is an asset.
- Knowledge of vital signs and patient care is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Experience with Dentrix software is a plus.

- Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures.
