In this role, you will be the friendly face greeting patients, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your clinical skills will support dentists with chairside assisting, dental procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all clinical supplies are ready for procedures Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery with four-handed dentistry techniques Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans while adhering to infection prevention protocols and aseptic techniques Record accurate medical documentation including vital signs, medical history updates, and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures and maintain infection control standards in accordance with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise Manage front desk duties such as answering phones, confirming appointments, processing payments, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and record keeping Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures Experience with dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, dental sterilization tools, and other clinical devices Ability to perform vital signs measurement and assist with medical imaging procedures accurately Excellent patient management skills with a focus on patient care and comfort in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry settings Knowledge of infection prevention management practices including aseptic technique and healthcare infection control standards Familiarity with dental assisting techniques such as chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, endodontics procedures, oral surgery support, and prosthodontics assistance Join us to be part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional dental care while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
