Competitive salary Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement Profit sharing Dental Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator Salud Dental Group is looking for an experienced, dependable, and professional Dental Receptionist / Front Office Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who already understands the flow of a busy dental office and can confidently handle patients, scheduling, insurance, and front-office responsibilities with minimal training. Requirements Previous dental front office/receptionist experience required Dentrix experience required Strong knowledge of dental scheduling and appointment coordination Experience verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility Familiarity with PPO and Medi-Cal/Denti-Cal dental plans preferred Ability to present treatment plans and discuss patient financial responsibilities Experience collecting copayments, balances, and outstanding accounts Strong telephone and customer service skills Comfortable confirming appointments and filling cancellations/openings Organized, reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a busy office Professional appearance and communication skills Spanish-speaking strongly preferred Responsibilities Answer incoming calls and assist patients professionally Schedule new and existing patients efficiently Maintain a productive provider schedule and help fill openings Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Enter and maintain accurate patient information in Dentrix Review treatment plans, estimated insurance benefits, and patient portions Collect payments and outstanding balances Confirm appointments and follow up with patients Coordinate with the clinical team to maintain smooth patient flow Help provide patients with a welcoming and professional experience from check-in through check-out What We Are Looking For We want someone who takes ownership of the front desk rather than simply answering phones. The right person understands that a strong dental receptionist plays an important role in keeping the schedule productive, helping patients move forward with recommended treatment, and making sure patients receive excellent service. Dental experience and Dentrix proficiency are important for this position.
