Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. Duties Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Manage patient records accurately using patient management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and medical history documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health. Maintain clinical cleanliness by following aseptic techniques and infection control procedures throughout all dental procedures. Requirements Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by state law. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in chairside assisting, dental instrument processing, and sterilization procedures. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient patient record management. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to dental care. Ability to operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools safely and effectively. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control policies, including aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members such as dental receptionists and hygienists while providing outstanding patient care. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus; familiarity with pediatric dentistry is highly valued.
