Job Overview Our private dental office in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Cross-Trained Dental Front Desk / Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships with patients, works well independently, and is comfortable assisting with both front office and clinical responsibilities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent customer service and helping create a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Welcome patients and provide outstanding customer service Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily schedule Verify PPO insurance benefits and assist with treatment coordination Collect payments and maintain accurate patient records Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control guidelines Assist the dentist chairside during procedures Take digital radiographs when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Work collaboratively to ensure a smooth patient experience Qualifications Minimum 3 years of dental office experience preferred Cross-trained in both front office and dental assisting preferred Experience with Open Dental is a plus Spanish-speaking is a plus Knowledge of PPO insurance verification and treatment coordination Current X-ray certification Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
