Job Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures Maintain patient records Expose and mount dental diagnostic x-rays Be able to make temporary crowns Make preliminary impressions Pour, trim, and polish study casts, fabricates custom impression trays from preliminary impressions, clean and polish removable appliances, and fabricate temporary restorations. Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist Proactively work towards achieving high patient satisfaction by offering friendly and professional patient service. Assist with other duties as needed Ensure all OSHA and Dental Board policies are being properly followed Comply with office policies and procedures Qualifications At least 6 month experience as a dental assistant Must have a current X-Ray License Must have a current CPR certification Must have a current Coronal Polishing Certificate Proof of completing radiation safety course Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance Working knowledge of dental equipment Quick learner/enthusiastic/positive attitude Excellent organizational skills Advanced verbal communication skills Passionate about providing top quality services MUST have a professional demeanor

Fluent in spoken and written English, fluency in spoken Spanish is not required but preferred.
