Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention protocols. Assist dentist during various procedures ensuring all tools and materials are ready for use. Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate medical imaging equipment while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Maintain dental sterilization procedures and infection control standards to uphold a safe clinical environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting, with familiarity in dental instrument processing and chairside assisting. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical procedures related to general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatrics. Strong understanding of healthcare infection prevention and control practices, aseptic technique, and dental sterilization procedures. Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while maintaining patient safety standards. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information.

Pay:

$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
