Position Summary We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our clinical team in delivering excellent patient care. You'll work chairside alongside our dentist, prepare patients and operatories, and help keep our workflow running smoothly. This role is a great fit for both experienced assistants and motivated candidates early in their career. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as we serve patients in multiple languages. What You'll Do Assist the dentist chairside during a full range of procedures, anticipating instrument and material needs Prepare and break down operatories, and sterilize and maintain instruments following strict infection-control protocols Seat, prepare, and reassure patients before and during treatment Take digital X-rays and intraoral images Perform coronal polishing as directed Take impressions/scans and assist with lab case handling Record clinical notes accurately in our practice management system (Open Dental) Provide patients with post-operative and oral hygiene instructions Help maintain inventory, order supplies, and keep clinical areas stocked and clean Support front-office coordination on scheduling and treatment planning as needed What We're Looking For Required California X-ray/Radiation Safety certification Coronal Polishing certification BLS/CPR certification (current, or willing to obtain) Basic knowledge of dental instruments, terminology, and chairside procedures Excellent communication, punctuality, and a genuine, patient-first attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while staying detail-oriented Reliable and a strong team player Preferred California Dental Practice Act and Infection Control certifications Prior chairside experience in a general dental practice Experience with Open Dental (or comparable practice management software) Bilingual (a plus) Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Dental treatment Discount Continuing education and certification support Complimentary and discounted dental care A supportive, team-oriented workplace with room to grow How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed with your resume.
