We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You will be expected to accomplish tasks independently while working as part of a team. DA front and back office duties include but are not limited to: Ensure that OSHA and CDC guidelines are followed when cleaning/sterilizing instruments and workstations. Prepare all necessary trays for dental procedures. Take and develop X-rays. Assist dentists during dental procedure in an efficient and professional manner. Explain post-op instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner. Schedule and confirm appointments Check in appointments upon patient's arrival Answer and make phone calls Verify insurance, collect copay, submit prior authorizations Qualifications Dental Assistant certificate Radiation certificate

BLS:

up to date Working knowledge and experience in all phases of dental procedures. Demonstrated ability with 4-handed dentistry. Bilingual Chinese and English (Required) Familiar with digital radiography (Preferred)

Experience:

Dental assisting 1 year (Preferred)

Job Type:

• Full time: 40 hours per week from 8:30am to 5:30pm. There is a quarterly rotation between Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday or
• Part time: 24-32 hours per week from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Working on Saturdays is required.

Location :

We have two clinics in Monterey Park and one in Rosemead. While you will mainly be scheduled for Monterey Park, you will be scheduled to cover in Rosemead when needed. The three clinics are approximately 7-10 minutes away from one another.
