In-Office Position About Us:
Newport Beach Dental Center is a modern, patient-centered dental practice focused on providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are looking for a motivated and personable Dental Treatment Coordinator / Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
Monday-Thursday work week! The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys building meaningful connections with patients. You'll play a key role in ensuring a smooth front office experience — from greeting patients and coordinating treatment plans to managing schedules and assisting with clinical support as needed.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently Present and coordinate treatment plans with patients Handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and clear communication Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Support clinical team as needed for smooth patient flow Maintain confidentiality and uphold practice policies and standards Clincal and chairside assisting when needed
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office (required) Proficiency in Dentrix dental software (strongly preferred) Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, friendly, and patient-focused demeanor Attention to detail and ability to work independently as a self-starter Experience with dental terminology and insurance preferred
