Patient Preparation and Support:

RDAs prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and positioning them correctly in the dental chair.

Instrument Management:

They sterilize and organize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Assisting with

Procedures:

RDAs assist dentists during procedures, such as fillings, extractions, and cleanings, by handing instruments, suctioning, and retracting tissue.

X-ray Taking:

They take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and exposure.

Record Keeping:

RDAs maintain detailed patient records, including medical and dental histories, treatment plans, and appointment schedules.

Patient Education:

They educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care instructions, and the importance of preventative dental care.

Infection Control:

RDAs ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sterilization and disinfection protocols.
