Job Description

Job Overview We're looking for a friendly, skilled DA/RDA to join our team in Placerville! Mountain Dental | One Loose Tooth is unique because we combine a general dental practice and a pediatric dental practice with a holistic approach to care under one roof. Located in a large, beautifully remodeled office in downtown Placerville, our practice is modern, welcoming, and supported by a team of upbeat professionals who truly love what they do. This full-time position (Monday-Thursday) offers a variety of clinical responsibilities and the opportunity to work with our doctors and team to provide exceptional patient care. The position will primarily focus on assisting adult patients ranging in age from 18 to 90. We're passionate about high-quality dentistry, patient comfort, and creating positive experiences for every patient we serve. Hours:
Monday-Thursday 8:15am-4:45pm Responsibilities Assist the doctor with restorative procedures, extractions, and the delivery of prosthetics and appliances while providing exceptional chairside support, as permitted by applicable licensure and certification. Perform general DA/RDA duties, including operatory setup, infection control, digital radiography, charting, treatment documentation, and instrument sterilization in accordance with OSHA, CDC, and California Dental Board requirements. Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations and appliances, prepare dental materials, and coordinate laboratory cases, including the tracking and organization of dental appliances and restorations, as permitted by applicable licensure and certification. Provide exceptional patient care by welcoming and preparing patients, promoting comfort, reducing anxiety, and delivering home care and post-operative instructions. Prepare and manage laboratory cases, including digital scanning, impression taking, case preparation, shipping, tracking, and the organization of dental appliances and restorations.
Pay:
$21.00 - $32.00 per hour
