Job Description

Position:
Looking for a 2-4 days per week Dental Assistant (DA or RDA) for immediate employment. Can help guide towards getting an RDA License for the right candidate.

Essential Duties:
Perform functions in accordance with the applicable state's Dental Auxiliaries Table of Permitted Duties Setting up and cleaning up treatment rooms in accordance to infection control guidelines Sterilize instruments and disinfect instruments and equipment Prepare tray setups and assisting doctors during dental procedures (fillings, crowns & bridge, implants, oral surgery and perio surgery) Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist chairside Building good rapport with our patients Clean and maintain a sterile and cheerful environment. Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures of the patient in an efficient and timely manner at the direction of the dentist (with proper certification) Maintain adequate supply levels for the office and replenishing as needed. Properly maintain the equipment and instruments. Instruct patients on general and post-operative oral health care. Maintain and update Back Office Manual regularly Assist the dentist on recording patient chart and notes. Polish Teeth (with proper licenses and certifications) Checking in patients and collecting payments Answering phone calls and scheduling patients. Will be required to be cross-trained to do front office duties as well.

Pay Range:
Competitive and Negotiable pay. Flexibility, compensation and benefits will be based on experience and competency.
Hours:
2-4 days/week. Working hours 9am-6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday.
Certifications:
None Required to start. Will help guide the right candidate to obtain X-rays, Infection Control, CPR Certifications in the 1st 3 months. Can offer additional guidance to obtaining RDA license for the right candidate.
Qualifications:

Pay:
$18.00 - $39.00 per hour
