The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and dentistry, possessing a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in the dental field. ## Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Prepare patients for dental work
  • Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
  • Prepare the work area for procedures and clean up afterward
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Maintain accurate patient records ## Requirements
  • Proficiency in medical imaging, dental assisting, dental terminology, infection control systems, vital signs, and anatomy knowledge
  • Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
  • Familiarity with Epic software is advantageous
  • Knowledge of general dentistry practices
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient care
