We are a children's dental office located in Redwood City. We are seeking a professional, reliable, and organized Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our children's dental practice and help support both front office and back office operations. Willing to train new experience employees! Our office sees approximately 10-20 children patients per day, offering a steady and manageable schedule in a supportive clinical environment. This position offers a unique schedule that may be beneficial for the right person. We are currently open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Every other week, the schedule starts earlier at 6:30 AM and ends around 2:30 PM. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls, assist with patient questions, and provide professional front office support. Schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, process billing, and assist with insurance claims follow-up. Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and office files while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Assist with dental assistant duties as needed, including preparing treatment rooms, seating patients, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays if certified, and supporting the doctor during patient care. Requirements Needs to speak Spanish Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a medical office environment, preferably in dental clinics Must be willing to learn dental terminology and dental operation computer system. Excellent organizational skills and Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities X-Ray & Coronal Polishing Needed or will obtain them soon.
