Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for examinations and treatments. Perform medical documentation accurately, including patient records and treatment plans. Manage patient flow by coordinating appointments and assisting with front desk duties as needed. Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling, billing, and maintaining patient records. Take X-rays as directed by the dentist while adhering to safety protocols. Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients. Operate 3D scanners to assist in creating precise dental impressions. Engage in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance procedural efficiency. Experience Previous experience in a dental clinic or as a dental receptionist is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is essential. Familiarity with assisting techniques and four-handed dentistry practices is highly desirable. Experience with X-ray procedures and safety protocols is an advantage. Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental practice management software will be beneficial.
